 Sino-Global Announces Recognition as One of China's Top 10 Best Shipping Agency Companies

Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SINO) ("Sino-Global" or the "Company"), a leading, non-state-owned provider of shipping agency services operating primarily in China, today announced that its PRC operating business Sino-Global Shipping Agency, Ltd. ("Sino-China"), was named as one of the Top 10 Best Shipping Agency Companies 2010 at the 8th China Freight Industry Award Ceremony, which was held in Shanghai on June 24, 2011. ("Sino-China"), was named as one of the Top 10 Best Shipping Agency Companies 2009 at the 7th China Freight Industry Award Ceremony, which was held in Shanghai on January 27, 2010.

 Sino-Global Renews Agency Agreement with Beijing Shou-Rong

--Agency Agreement renewed with Sino-Global's largest client for two years --Appoints Sino-Global as port attending agent for all Chinese ports

BEIJING, Jan 15, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SINO) ("Sino-Global"), a leading, non-state-owned provider of shipping agency services operating primarily in China, announced that it has signed an agency agreement with Beijing Shou-Rong Forwarding Service Co., Ltd. ("Beijing Shou-Rong"), an affiliate of Capital Steel, a steel company in China. The previous agency agreement was to expire on December 31, 2009. Sino-Global and Beijing Shou-Rong extended the agreement through December 31, 2011.

"We are pleased with the opportunity to continue to assist Beijing Shou-Rong with its port agent needs," said Mr. Cao Lei, Sino-Global's chief executive officer. "Beijing Shou-Rong is our largest client, and we believe this two-year extension demonstrates the confidence they have in our shipping agency services."

The new agency agreement appoints Sino-Global as Beijing Shou-Rong's exclusive port attending agent in all Chinese ports for all iron ore-carrying ships. In 2009, Sino-Global served as agent for ships carrying 48 million tons of iron ore for Beijing Shou-Rong.

 Sino-Global Establishes Partnership with Forbes & Company Ltd.

Sino-Global today announced that it has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with India-based, Forbes & Company Limited. Under the terms of the agreement, Forbes will recommend Sino-Global as their exclusive business partner in China to all their existing clients in India and Sino-Global will serve all vessels in China that are appointed by Forbes. Likewise, Sino-Global will recommend Forbes as their exclusive business partner in India to all their existing clients in China and Forbes will serve all vessels in India that are appointed by Sino-Global. This Agreement enhances shipping agency cooperation in both China- and India-based ports.

 Sino-Global Establishes Subsidiary in Shanghai and Extends Scope of Service

Sino-Global today announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in Shanghai, China. The subsidiary, Trans Pacific Logistics Shanghai, Ltd., increases Sino-Global’s presence to nine ports in mainland China and will enable the Company to provide a full range of shipping agency services as well as freight forwarder services.  Sino-Global Announces Results of 2009 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

Sino-Global today announced that it has obtained shareholder approval for all the matters submitted for approval at its 2009 annual general meeting held on May 27, 2009. A total of 2,726,899 shares were represented in person or by proxy at the Company’s 2009 annual general meeting, representing approximately 92.1% of outstanding shares. During the meeting, all proposed resolutions were duly passed including:

1. Cao Lei and Joseph Jhu were elected as the Class II members of the board of directors, each to serve a term expiring at the annual meeting of shareholders in 2012 or until his successor is duly elected and qualified.

2. Friedman LLP was appointed as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009.

 Sino-Global Establishes Branches in Yantai, Shandong Province and Yingkou, Liaoning Province, China

Sino-Global today announced new cost-cutting measures in response to the weakened global shipping industry. Specifically, some of the key measures include a:

33% reduction in annualized office rent expense

Reduction of staff from 75 as of September 2008 to 52 as of February 2009, resulting in an expected 27% reduction in annualized personnel expenses

 Sino-Global signs a joint-venture agreement with Rocklands Richfield Limited

Sino-Global today announced that it has signed a joint-venture agreement with Australia-based Rocklands Richfield Limited, a listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange. The proposed joint-venture company will serve as a shipping operator for cargo ships carrying imported goods to China. RCI and Sino-Global have each agreed to contribute US$250,000 to fund the joint-venture’s start-up and operations, and up to an additional US$250,000 each as needed to operate the company and support its business development activities. The joint-venture will be structured as a British Virgin Islands company, and RCI and Sino-Global will each own 50% of the company.
